The short version: Intutiv is a Chrome extension that works inside the Gmail tab you already have open. It does not use the Gmail API and has no login. Your email is read and processed on your own device and is never sent to us. We do not sell, rent or share your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Intutiv's single purpose is to make Gmail faster and easier to search, read and organise. To do that it reads, from Gmail in your browser using your existing Gmail session: the message list, the messages you open, and their attachments. In the background it also reads recent messages and attachments from Google's Gmail servers (for example to index attachment text for search and to keep recent mail ready to open instantly). All of this goes from Google straight to your device and is processed there.
In your browser's storage: your settings; copies of recent messages for instant and offline reading; text extracted from attachments so you can search inside them; list snapshots and thumbnails; drafts and actions waiting to be sent when you are offline; reminders you create; your Pro licence key; and, if you enable on-device AI, the AI model files.
Deleting it: the popup's Clear all my data button removes Intutiv's stored mail data, settings and licence key. Uninstalling the extension removes data stored by the extension itself; data Intutiv saved inside Gmail's own site storage is removed by Clear all my data, so use it before uninstalling. Chrome's "Clear browsing data" for mail.google.com also removes it.

Like any website, our licence server and payment pages can see your IP address and browser type when they are contacted; this is used only to run and protect the service and is kept only in short-lived hosting logs.
The use of information received by Intutiv adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data is used only to provide the features you use, and is not transferred except as described in section 3 (to deliver a feature you turned on, to process a payment, or as required by law).
Payments are handled by Paddle.com Market Ltd, the merchant of record, under Paddle's privacy policy. We never see your card details. Our licence server keeps no customer database: it checks your subscription with Paddle when a key is issued or renewed. Paddle keeps purchase records as required for tax and accounting.
Your mail data is on your device and under your control (see section 2). For anything we or Paddle hold about your purchase (email address, plan), you can ask us to access, correct or delete it at hello@intutiv.ai; we will reply within 30 days. This applies wherever you live, including under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act and the GDPR.
Intutiv is not directed at children under 16.
We will post changes here with a new effective date and announce material changes in the extension's release notes.
